Anonymous asked: okay so a couple days ago, my close friend moved a few states over. i wanted to hang out once more the day before he left, and he agreed but he ended up blowing me off and hanging out with someone else instead. i texted him later telling him i cared about him and asked if he still wanted to be friends. i thought he might not, because this wasn't the first time he's forgotten or canceled our plans. but he said he cared about me too, and definitely wanted to be friends.
so then i asked if i could maybe stop by his house in the morning before he left to say goodbye. he never replied to that text, and hasn't answered any text from me since then. eventually i sent one saying "okay i can take a hint. i'll leave you alone for now." he's been answering my other friends' texts. i have NO idea what i did.
I can't confront him in person cuz he's gone :( i'm afraid if i text or message him on facebook, he'll think im annoying and won't reply. i'm afraid to call him in case it seems desperate. what should I do?
he's gay btw. no romance here. and ending the friendship at this point isn't really an option, we're really close which is why this is so confusing...
it seeems as if he needs some space and time. give him about a month or two. he told you he does care about you too. if he’s been texting back your friends, get one of them to ask him and tell him how you feel about this situation.
